Yash Rawal our hero at DAVIS Cup tournament, Morroco
We would like to congratulate our student Yash Rawal who participated in DAVIS Cup tournament between 5-8 May 2010 (Draw made on 4 May) at Royal Tennis Club de Marrakech, Marrakech, Morocco. The capacity was 1000 in Centre Court and the play
Fourteen nations in four pools (5-7 May) participated. Winners of each pool play-off to decide which two nations were to be promoted to Europe/Africa Zone Group II (8 May). They included Algeria, Benin, Botswana, Cameroon, Congo, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Madagascar, Morocco, Nigeria, Rwanda, Tunisia, Â Zimbabwe
Outcome
-Final positions: 1= Morocco, Tunisia, 3= Madagascar, Algeria, 5= Nigeria, Zimbabwe, 7= Benin, Ivory Coast, 9= Ghana, Kenya, 11= Rwanda, Botswana, 13. Cameroon, 14. Congo
-Promotion: Morocco and Tunisia promoted to Europe/Africa Zone Group II in 2011.
