BTEC HND & NATIONAL DIPLOMA COURSES OFFERED AT INTEL COLLEGE.
INtel College offers a variety of courses at Diploma level. The Edexcel BTEC Higher National Programmes are British qualifications equivalent to 2 years of University study. Programmes are offered on a full time or part time basis and students can attend either day time or evening classes.
COURSE: Edexcel BTEC Higher National Diploma in Computing (UK qualifications)
A UK qualification equivalent to 2 years of university study covering a wide range of computing subjects (3 units per term, 3 terms per year).
Duration: 2 years full time. Also offered part time day and/or evening session
Entry: GCSE A levels or equivalent or relevant work experience or KCSE with Foundation in Computing
Intake: Jan/May/Sep
Admission fee: Kshs. 10,000/- (includes use of library)
Tuition fee: Kshs. 75,000/- per term (Kshs. 25,000 per unit X 3 units per term)
BTEC Registration fee: 196 UK pounds and annual exam fee of 100 UK pounds
Application deadline: 2 weeks before commencement of programme
Equivalence and Progression: 2 years of University. Students with ‘merits’ will be able to progress to the final year of a British University for a BSc (hons) in Computing
COURSE: Foundation Courses in Computing
Duration: 6 months full time over 2 terms.
Entry: GCSE O’levels or equivalent or relevant work experience
Intake: Jan/May/Sep
Application deadline: 2 weeks before commencement of programme
Tuition Fee: Kshs. 75,000/- per term (Kshs. 25,000 per unit X 3 units per term)
Students must have grade C or higher in English language, Mathematics, and ICT. Bridging Courses offered to students without the above pre-requisites.
Admission Fee: Kshs 10,000/-(includes use of library)
Progression: BTEC Higher National Diploma or Equivalent.
