SUNDERLAND DEGREE PROGRAMMES OFFERED AT INTEL COLLEGE, NAIROBI
Through a collaborative partnership between the University of Sunderland UK and INtel College, Nairobi, the following degree Programmes are offered right here at INtel College. Programmes run on a part time basis (2 evenings per week and Saturday mornings. Therefore students on these programmes can work and study at the same time.
Computing Degree Programmes
COURSE: BSc (Hons) in Applied Business Computing (Final Year) of the University of Sunderland, UK
An opportunity for students with recognized Advanced or Higher diplomas to top-up to degree level in just one year of part time study in Kenya.
Duration: 1 year part time
Entry: Higher National or Advanced Diploma e.g. BTEC, ABE or IMIS OR equivalent. University admissions board will determine entry point on receipt of application.
Intake: Feb/May/Sep
Application Deadline: 6 weeks before start of programme
Tuition & Examination Fee: 2640 UK pounds plus local fee of Kshs. 20,000/-
Admission Fee: Kshs 10,000/-(includes use of library)
Progression: On successful completion, student can progress to a Masters qualification in a related field.
COURSE: Bsc (Hons) in Computer Systems Engineering of the University of Sunderland, UK
Duration: 3 year Programme offered both full time and part time
Entry: KCSE or equivalent (with mean grade of C+) and a Foundation course in Computing
Intake: Sept.
Application Deadline: 6 weeks before start of programme
Tuition & Examination Fee: 2640 UK pounds plus local fee of Kshs. 20,000/-
Admission Fee: Kshs 10,000/-(includes use of library)
Progression: On successful completion, student can progress to a Masters qualification in a related field.
Business Degree Programmes
COURSE: BA (Hons) in Accounting and Financial Management (Final Year) of the University of Sunderland, UK
An opportunity for students with recognized Advanced or Higher diplomas to top-up to degree level in just one year of part time study in Kenya.
Duration: 1 year part time
Entry: Advanced or Higher National Diploma e.g. BTEC, ABE, KIM, ACCA, CPA OR its equivalent. University admissions board will determine entry point on receipt of application
Intakes: April/July/October.
Application Deadline: 6 weeks before start of programme
Admission Fee: Kshs 10,000/-(Includes use of library)
Tuition & Examination Fee: UK3000 pounds plus local fee of Kshs. 36,000/- (includes loan of essential textbooks to each student)
Progression: On successful completion, student can progress to a Masters qualification in a related field.

Candidates with reputable and recognised Advanced or Higher Diplomas are eligible for exemptions on the above Programmes. For example, students with Advanced ABE, or Higher Diploma IMIS or BTEC Higher National Diploma would be eligible for entry to the final year of the above degree Programmes. Students with CIM Post Graduate Diploma would be eligible for exemptions on the MBA Programme
